 Sr. Network Engineer Anaheim, CA3+ months Contract-to-Hire Notes:
  • Extensive Cisco Networking (At least 10 years) - mandatory
  • Strong Juniper Networking - very big plus
  • Strong F5 Load Balancer - mandatory
  • Strong Cisco Nexus - mandatory
  • Extensive Data Center Networking - mandatory
  • Solid Firewalls (Palo Alto is what they’ve been moving everything to)
  • Any Wireless (specifically Cisco Wireless or Aruba Wireless)
  • Current and Active professional-level or higher Cert (CCNP or JNICP or F5-CTS) is Required 
    • MUST provide proof to submit (Cert # or Softcopy)
  • Must provide conversion salary target
 Responsible for the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN/WiFi systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and implements network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Requires a bachelors degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field. This role must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, WiFi, network security devices and network management systems.  Possesses one or more industry standard certifications including CCNA and CCNP, etc. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must be familiar with managed services concepts within an outsourcing environment. Reports to a manager and tech team lead. 
Must demonstrate advanced enterprise level skills in LAN/MAN/WAN, WiFi and LAN facilities provisioning. This position is located in Anaheim CA and requires local presence within 1hr commute.
