Resource Manager, SoftwarePeachtree City, GADirect Hire YOUR MISSION: 
Directs and coordinates activities of the software engineering department to design, manufacture, and test electronic components, products, and systems either personally or through subordinates. 


• Directs department activities to research and analyze data, designs new products, modifies existing designs, improves techniques, and develops test procedures. 
• Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs, and customer demand to plan projects. 
• Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. 
• Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products. 
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. 
• Interprets specifications and job orders to subordinates either verbally or in writing. 
• Manages projects related to quality improvement and supplier relations approach utilizing customer required formats such as APQP and PPAP techniques within project work. 


• Four-year college degree in engineering or related technical field required. 
• Minimum of ten years software design or related experience required. Specific experience in actual design of software for automotive audio components desirable. 
• Additional desirable experience includes familiarity with configuration management, CMMI or Automotive Spice, extreme programming and PD3. 
• Must have demonstrated leadership ability. 
• Must have technical background experience with at least two of the following:  SOC (Systems on Chip), Turner DSP (Digital Signal Process), OS/BSP (Board Support Package), BT (BlueTooth)/Wifi, AVB (Audio Video Broadcasting). 
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based databases as appropriate to the position and assignment.
