Senior Business Analyst

Atlanta, GA Job SummaryOur client  is seeking a highly motivated and qualified business analyst. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the quality of the corporation’s important and highly visible projects.  The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, defining, documenting and testing business and system requirements for complex, high profile projects. The candidate will act as a liaison between management, developers, quality assurance and the business partners. The successful BA professional should be proactive and must possess strong analytical and communication skills. EducationRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, physics, engineering or computer sciencePreferred: Master’s Degree Skills and Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in capturing, analyzing and documenting business requirements
  • Ability to capture requirements with efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail on a consistent basis
  • Experience conducting interviews with key stakeholders to gather pertinent information 
  • Ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, subject matter experts and development teams
  • Experience in and knowledge of UML
  • Experience in documenting requirements using the following:
o   Use Caseso   Activity Diagramso   Domain Models        Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose, or other modeling software tools
  • Experience in and knowledge of objected oriented design
  • Experience in collaborating with QA team to develop and manage test plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
        Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment  Skills Preferred
  • Knowledge of HP ALM or HP Quality Center
  • Experience in leading or managing software development
        Familiarity with railroad business
