  • Build, configure, manage and upgrade Microsoft Windows Servers. Server versions include Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2 and 2016. 
  • Configure servers to server roles including AD, DNS, DHCP, PKI and CA, Radius, Web, FTP, Hyper-V, App-V - Install and configure Microsoft administrative tools software including SCOM, SCCM, MBAM, MDT 
  • Plan and conduct Upgrades to existing servers to required major release
  • Security hardening guides & tools (DISA STIGs, SCAP, ACAS (Tenable/Nessus), HBSS). 
  • Expertise in server and network administration for LAN/WAN, UNIX/Linux, Windows Server 2008/2012, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Network Policy Server 
  • VPN and Wireless LAN experience desired 
  • Experienced systems engineer who has 7+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 operating systems. Experience with Microsoft Azure and O365 Administration 
  • Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, including Group Policy creation and management 
  • Experience in server and desktop virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp Server and XenDesktop preferred. 
  • Experience with automated monitoring systems and technologies, with practical knowledge of MS SCOM, and SCCM, and automated patching procedures Day-to-Day administration of the SCCM & RDS environment 
  • Ensuring all workstations OS & AV patching is up to date Imaging & Pushing of software to PC using SCCM 
  • Develop and support automation scripts, processes and tools Managing Real-Time Collaboration Tools Provided reporting of system inventory and patching. 
  • Mobile Device Management 
  • Develop and maintain user experience in RDS Manage enterprise level Active Directory (AD) infrastructure; design, cleanup, maintenance and configuration Engineer, evaluate, and review future directory architecture including the role of AD in Enterprise IAM 
  • Develop, update, document and manage and align GPOs across complex multiple domain, network environment 
  • Manage, monitor and respond to alerting for systems and services maintained Implement patches and upgrades to ensure server and workstation environment is in compliance with Cyber Security and Information Assurance policies regulations 
  • Support implementation of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) 
  • Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems that comprise the AD ecosystem 
  • Assist with various key cybersecurity initiatives which include but are not limited to Single Sign-On (SSO), Privileged Account Management (PAM), Public Key Infrastructure, Certificate Management, and the integration of AD with various directory stores.

  • Develop and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources regarding Active Directory 
  • Develop and implements testing and contingency strategies and document results 
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned 
  • Participate in System Administration on call rotational support roster Participate in special projects as required Primary duty is to administer Veritas NetBackup Appliances in a global environment. 
  • Assist in leading Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity program across the organization. 
  • Perform operational backup and recovery duties for Linux, Windows, and database systems. 
  • Participate in administration of SAN and Linux systems. 
  • Contribute to on-call rotation for 24x7 support. 
  • Participate in scheduled off hours monthly maintenance activities 
  • Resolve ticket requests from the business units and end users in a timely manner Cross-train IT staff to support backup and recovery.
